My Writing
I have been writing since I have memory. I mostly write poetry, but I have been branching out into Creative Nonfiction. I enjoy playing with words and telling a story in unusual ways.
Teacher
Of course, I am a teacher of English. I teach 8th grade in a public school and after 18 years I still enjoy my work. My favorite thing to teach is writing and introducing my students to some of my favorite poets.
Student
I decided last year to pursue a Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing. I love the work and learning from my professors and classmates.
